Political Punch
You know why I hate Billary? When they pull crap like this, it should be self explanatory. Bubba compares Obama's win to Jesse Jackson's. No offense to the Rev., but this is completely different. I'm so glad that Obama crushed Billary in SC. Tsunami Tuesday is going to be interesting, especially with Teddy K. endorsing Obama.

Could I have some more poltics with a side of baseball? The last helping was great.
Billary is getting desperate. And people, I'm not being disparaging when I call them Billary (okay, maybe a little) but THEY are running for president. Don't think that Bill takes Hillary losing personally? Look at the recent video of him calling Obama's campaign a fairy tale. And it isn't because its his wife, its because her losing is a referendum on his presidency and legacy. He can't stand the fact that the guy who played sax on Arsenio is now the "old" guy and his wife, whether fair or not, now represents old and in the way of true progress..not change and hope. Billary can dress it up as much as they want, but the problem is that the American public loves Obama and when they attack his lack of experience they are doing more harm than good. Billary's advisors are idiots and they think that by talking about experience they are telling us what we want to hear. You don't like to be told that the man who you think is ideal for president isn't qualified enough, because you take it as an insult to your intelligence. Add to the fact that no one really "likes" Hillary and you now have the smartest kid in the class telling you that the girl you have a crush on isn't all she's cracked up to be. You KNOW they are saying that because they aren't the one you have a crush on. If they were smart they would have had Hillary acknowledge the infatuation with Obabma, almost downright calling it admirable and THEN talk about experience. But don't make him out to be naive or ill-qualified. Work off the same the assumption that the American people have, that anyone worth maybe voting for is qualified to president, the differences is who will lead the way you want. Right now, Obama is that choice and Billary's every move is showing why they could never be the person who leads the way they want instinctively.
I don't know if I believe Clemens or not, but if you had to pin me down, I would say I do believe him. When I listened to the taped conversation between he and his trainer, his trainer sounded like a man drowning in quicksand. I think this guy said what prosecutors wanted to hear and I'm sure that he thought it wouldn't become such a giant deal. Now that is has, he realizes what he had done and is trying to squirm his way out of it. By the way, Clemen's press conference was CLASSIC. Think that sound byte of him saying he doesn't give a rat's ass about the Hall of Fame won't be played ad naseum when he gets inducted?

From my Journal 12/28
Every so often I will try to post something from my journal...this is something from 12/28.
High Fidelity is the greatest movie ever. I know this isn't true, just hyperbole, but still a great movie and it reminds me that a)John Cusak is an acting god and b) I wish I was his character, Rob. He is perfectly miserable. Is it sad that even though Rob is pathetic and sad and miserable, because he is perfect, we yearn to be him. Music does the same thing; to be that perfectly anything, even if it is heartbroken or miserable. The other great thing is that it is perfectly cast, from Catherine Zeta to Jack Black; to Susan Sarandon's husband.
