#2 I think it ironic that conservatives have such a problem with McCain and label Romney as a true conservative. Romney is a guy who never met a position he didn't like, he used to be pro-Choice, then he wasn't. Now, I'm not a pro-lifer or neo-con and I'm glad I'm not if that means I need to pick the Republicans' version of Billy Clinton over a guy who I might not agree with but at least has stuck to his convictions. I think the real reason conservatives hate McCain is that he doesn't pander to them like every other candidate has done and that is really sad. How can you claim to truly believe in something if you need those who don't agree with you to pay you lip service for you pet causes, strikes me that you really don't have any convictions at all, just crazy rantings.

#4 Still like Obama, but whoever is advising him are idiots. This race isn't about the war anymore, so quit harping on Billary's vote on the Iraq war. To quote James Carville, "It's the economy, stupid." Everyone, even democrats who voted in the midterm specifically to end the war have conceded that us staying in Iraq for the foreseeable future is a foregone conclusion. I'm not naive enough to think that Obama will follow through on his reduction and withdrawal of troops at all costs, he's a smart guy, he'll see the writing on the wall. However, unlike everyone else I won't hold it against him when he changes his mind. There are many other ways you and Billary are different other than your vote on Iraq, focus on those or you might lose. Oh and BTW, don't be her VP if she ends up winning. Be a thorn in her side in the Senate and call her out when she waffles on every issue and doesn't live up to any of her promises.
#5 It looks I won't have to move to Candada, Huckabee and Edwards are both essentially out. I'm sure both are nice enough, but Huckabee is stupid crazy and Edwards is a snake oil salesman.

Funny how the environment is not being mentioned as one of the major topics of discussion. I am not suggesting Nadar rejoin the scene but it might be something of importance.
As long as the economy is the crapper, no ones cares about the environment.

The difference is that while Pats fans will hold on to Bellicheat forever, I, as a LONG TIME IU fan, want them to fire Sampson immediately. And as Pats fan just thinks their cheating is a matter of semantics, I think what Sampson did is disgraceful and hold those that hired him accountable as well. So, you enjoy your tarnished victories, while I will insist that my favorite teams try to maintain some scrap of dignity and fire his ass now. Your coach will be there forever, because you have zero standards.
